Conrad John Golly is a former athlete, civil engineer by training, and law enforcement officer turned entrepreneur. Born in Carmichael, California, on December 21, 1990, Conrad grew up in a blue‑collar family, with his father working in general construction.
From an early age, he learned the value of hard work by helping on job sites and later driving boom trucks to deliver construction materials. After pursuing his degree in Civil Engineering from Sacramento State, Conrad joined public service as a California Highway Patrol officer.
His career was cut short due to injury, but the experience shaped his resilience and commitment to building meaningful work beyond traditional paths.
Conrad is the founder of the Small Stack Newsletter, a community and publication dedicated to “cutting away the noise” of risky money‑making trends. His mission is to highlight practical, proven, and often overlooked business topics.
He is also the co-founder of feedyloop.com, helping saas companies build features that customers actually pay for.
Today, Conrad focuses on empowering entrepreneurs and professionals to recognize the power of “boring but great” businesses, creating awareness around opportunities that are sustainable, smart, and built to last.
